How much do Astel truck drivers earn?
Drivers gross $2,400–2,700+ per week, which works out to $90,000–$110,000+ per year. The rate is a flat $0.80 per mile for drivers with 1+ year of experience, with a guaranteed $2,400 weekly minimum, a $2,000 sign-on bonus and airfare reimbursement up to $200. All miles are paid, both loaded and deadhead, calculated ZIP-to-ZIP. Settlements are weekly.
What freight does Astel haul?
Refrigerated (reefer) freight over-the-road: produce and dairy, meat and grocery loads on West–Midwest corridors. Peak season runs August through March at 3,500–3,700 miles per week.
What do I need to apply?
